Vikram Vinayak Mandir is situated inside the Vikram Ispat premises, Salav is situated about 20 km away from Alibag. On the way to Janjira, take the right fork to reach the Vikram Ispat industry. This temple is situated across the Revdanda Bridge and is surrounded by beautiful garden and fountains. Located on a small hillock, the temple can be reached by climbing the well-paved stairs. While climbing the temple steps one is always mesmerized by the landscape. On both a side of the steps is green velvet carpet of grass and beautiful flowers which will keep you spellbound for a minute. The towering dome is built in pure milk white marble and the roof of the prayer hall is made of the transparent polycrap sheet, which is open from all sides. The ceiling of the temple is transparent which allows free flow of air and ample of light to come in. On entering the temple there is a square shaped nave. The nave is also made of marble and is very beautifully carved. Carved idol of 'Ganapati' is placed in the nave. Inside the temple, different idols of gods and goddesses can be seen such as Shiva-Parvati, Lord Surya, Shree Radha-Krishna and Goddess Durga. There is a statue of Late Aditya Birla in the garden of the temple. Around the statue is a beautiful gardened landscape along with colored water fountains. The temple is open from 6.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. Worship and Aarti are done at 9.00 a. m. and 7.00 p. m. every day.
