Kolthare beach is situated in Ratnagiri. It is at a distance of 20 km from Dapoli. The drive itself is very adventurous as the beach is deep inside the Western Ghats jungle. While on the drive, you might spot a peacock. Kolthare beach consists of white sand. It is a beach that’s less known because of its location, but it can be a great getaway from daily hustle and bustle of the city. There’s Koleshwar temple nearby which is built with stones and is now painted white. People visit here especially to celebrate Maha Shivratri.
