About Varsoli Beach

Varsoli beach, lying adjacent to Alibaug, is strikingly beautiful and equally peaceful and clean. The coast is filled with thick shadows of cypress tree gardens and in its front lies a widely expanding sea. We can reach Varsoli beach by encircling Mahesh Chitramandir located close to Alibaug bus stand and going through a direct route from there.

Despite of being close to Alibaug beach, This has not turned into a cement jungle and rests in the proximity of coconut and betel nut orchards. Located just 2 km from Alibaug, Varsoli beach was not known to many tourists. That’s why, people coming from cities like Pune and Mumbai considered visiting this beach a fiesta of enjoying relaxing holidays.

However, nowadays, the number of people visiting this place during weekends is increasing. Even so, the calmness here is unaffected. The coast of this is currently under renovation. Many people who want to spend a relaxed time nowadays prefer Varsoli coast. The cypress tree gardens here are comparatively much thicker.

On the fringes of Alibaug in the area of Varsoli, a tiny subsidiary village, we come across the Varsoli beach. Despite of being a fighting center of naval activities, the waters of this beach are pure and the coast has clean white sand. A vast number of casuarina and coconut plantations constellate this beach.
