Guhagar Beach is located in the west coast in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. It is the cleanest and less polluted beaches in Maharashtra. It is located just within 200 meters from Guhagar S.T. Depot towards the western side. Guhagar is the place where Vashishti River empties into the Arabian Sea. It is a very long beach and extends for almost 6 km between two hillocks. Guhagar means “Caves House” i.e. Guha means Cave and Agar mean House. I am picture perfect because of my coconut trees lining and beautiful landscape. It is a serene place for a wonderful holiday trip.

As Guhagar Beach is surrounded by two most beautiful holy temples wyadeshwar and Durgadevi are newly build for more tourist’s attraction than ever before. The specialty lies in my cleanliness, calmness and lovely atmosphere around me which is beautifully surrounded by natural flora and fauna. Guhagar Beach provides very warm climate throughout the year so a pleasant weather is guaranteed even if in peak summer. Guhagar Beach is located near to Chiplun, a wonderful city with the small population and modern atmosphere. Near Guhagar beach beautiful places for sightseeing like Ratnagiri watch tower which gives a wonderful view of my amazing landscape and other one is the temple. Located only at a distance of 370km from Mumbai, Guhagar Beach can be easily reached by rail, road and air transport. Ratnagiri is the closest city with a railway station and also an airport. One can also reach me by driving through NH 17 that connects Mumbai and Goa.
